Today, I am excited to have my mom as a guest to share how to make homemade play-dough. All the pictures of play-dough making in this post are courtesy of my dad.
My mom has made this play-dough many, many times. I made this recipe with her when I was a kid. I haven’t played with play-dough in years so my mom recruited two adorable helpers. This recipe requires adult participation as it involves boiling water. This is a fun craft to help teach children to follow directions and to measure.
First, my mom and her helpers measured 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 2 packages of unsweetened Kool-Aid, and 3 tablespoons oil into a large bowl.
