These scones make a lovely breakfast. The outsides have a nice crunch and the insides are soft and fluffy.
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 1/4 cups low fat buttermilk
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
I preheated the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. I lined a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl I stirred together the dry ingredients. I added the liquid ingredients and stirred until a soft dough formed. I folded in the frozen blueberries. I spooned the dough into mounds on the baking sheet.
