A Glass Mosaic from a Trip to Charleston

Earlier this summer, I blogged about Jaime and my trip to Charleston and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival.  At the festival we picked up a beautiful glass mosaic.  While I was going through some summer photos I realized that I never shared any photos of the mosaic with you–perhaps because it lived on the floor under our living room coffee table while we debated the best way to hang it.  Two trips to the hardware store later and it is finally hung!

The mosaic is framed in an old grandfather clock door and is by artist Rachel K. Jones. The mosaic catches the light in the morning and glows.  It makes me smile every time I walk by it as it reminds me of Jaime and my trip to Charleston and is the first piece of art that we bought together.
